Spartans improve to 1-0 in the postseason, while Novacaine sits at 0-1.
This is the first time Spartans shutout an opponent this season. The victory gets Spartans back on the winning track after a loss in their last game.
The loss comes on the heels of a Novacaine victory in their last game. This is the fewest points scored in a game this season by Novacaine, and the first time Novacaine failed to score against an opponent this season.
Prior to this game, these teams had met only one other time, on Mar 15 2011, 20:30, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game which Spartans won 14-12.

GREAT game Spartans...we were hitting on all cylinders fellas. That`s how you play football...now I just need to remember this is flag, not tackle and stop swatting hands away when they try and pull the flag. FAIL!

06/02/11 12:58 | Spartans pass rush was dominating. not enough time for WR patterns to develop and its hard to dink and dunk all the way down the field w/o something going wrong offensively. if that defense plays like that they`ll be very tough to score on. |
