04/22 : The Union edges Magnums 10-7

The Union improves to 4-1 on the season, while Magnums drop to 5-1.

Coupled with a win in their previous game, The Union has now won two in a row.

The loss ends a 5 game winning streak for Magnums.

These teams had played each other twice prior to this matchup. Their most recent matchup was Oct 22 2009, 21:10, a Fairfax County Flag Football League "A" regular season game which Magnums won 14-0.

Next up for The Union is Novacaine (5-1). That game is scheduled for Apr 29 2010, 20:00 at Lake Fairfax#1.

Magnums will face off against Chick Fil A (0-6) on Apr 29 2010, 21:00 at Lake Fairfax#1.

Looks like its a battle for #1 in the WEST!

Suck for one reason Mike Nunn!!!! He lost them that game.... where in the HELL is their QB at? these team is overrated if you ask me. the lost to Union because of sorry ass Mike Nunn... You need to kick him off your team ROB... Matter of fact kick him out this league... Like I said a while back Dre is better then you Mike Bumm...

I was Thinking the same thing.. this kid is overrated he belong in the C league if there`s a team that would take him... Need to watch his mouth or he will loss some teeth!

hasnt played since the Novacaine game, what, did Mike Nunn decide he was the man for the job instead? LOL. Magnums went from a contender to The Scavengers Sunday team!

Not sure where their normal QB was but whoever they had back there threw like 5 INTs. Mike Nunn wasn`t the QB except for a little at the end when they scored their TD.

it that the magnums were sucking or was the union really playing well? Im gonna go with a combination of both based on my ability to know things.

Magnums have been ice cold since their normal QB hasnt been playing. First 3 games they were hot but without him they have NADA.

Obvi Unions a good team and if you dont bring your A game against them, you are gonna get beat. So I agree with the above post, a lil bit of both.

mike nunn is a good qb. better than most of the qbs in this league. When he is on his game he is better than the regular mags qb as well.

The guy that played most of the time last night threw some picks and couldn`t move the ball. Mike looked like he was injured or something though.

was there the first 4 weeks and they won. Wasn`t there the last two weeks and they won a close one last week and lost a close one this week.

from what I could tell it looked like Mags throwing INTs cost them the game. One of the INTs was for a TD. so that gave union 7 of their 10 points. I think Magnums threw 4 or 5 INTs during the game so basically every drive ended with an INT other than the one the Magnums scored on. And these weren`t great defensive INTs these were INTs thrown right to the other team. It was pretty pathetic.

LMAO.... You guys are funny..... If I were you I would hate me too. Are there any C league teams that would like to pick me up? The A league is to hard and Dre is better than me... I`ma free agent at the end of the year so whats up!!!! lol

Union stoped thier spread O and when they finally went with a 3 man line they moved the ball a bit and scored on short yardage. Neither QB had time to throw. And getting sacked 4 times in a rown when you are 1st and goal on the 4 yard line to 4th and 30+ yeards does not help when Union only rushed 2 ppl the whole game

Has TC`s success using the spread convinced everybody that, that`s the most effective offensive system? Why are more and more teams switching to it?

It has less to do with TC and more to do with personnel. If you don`t have lineman types you can`t run a conventional offense.

So what`s teams have a OL and what`s teams don`t?

Only 7pt Spread has that big guy playing WR when he damn well should be playing OL hahaha. The dude is out of breath after every play hahahaha.

its tough to tell whether the union is for real or not, granted they beat the mags but got rocked by chaos and have only scored 3 on hokies(thus far). seems inconsistent. hey, a dub is a dub. lets see how strong they finish

chaos is a very solid team. Seemed a little inexperience at the beggining of the season, but coming together nicely. still a long season, and some good squads to beat to win the west.

Qb looks like a ******ed gremlim tho, somehow hes kind of effective if he has space tho. they need some more games under their belt before they claim the west.

Badboyz are the best in the west, than a toss up between Mags and Novacaine. Chaos hasnt proved anything yet.

Chaos has fewest points allowed in the West and they D is the BEST!

Caines Defense scored the game winning TD in that game, so I`d say thats a pretty stout D too.
